Advanced anemometer model
ANEMOMETER Intergrated alarms for cranes and output pulse
Anemometer with alarm beacons and buzzer, commanded by 2 adjustable thresholds. Thanks to its special design, the rotor doesn't generate any perturbation in the surrounding air flow in such a way as to preserve the excellent accuracy of the instrument.
The employment of magnetic sensors, allows the access of the wind speed signal inside the anemometer without compromising its waterproof features.

Mechanical Features
Safety can be improved reducing the speed of the alarm and prealarm set point
Prealarm threshold
Yellow lamp and siren are intermittently activated for values of wind speed comprised between 50 and 70 km/h.
Alarm threshold
When the wind speed exceeds 70 km/h, red lamp and siren are continuously activated until the wind speed drops below the alarm set point (Switch 1 = OFF), or until the equipment will be switched off (Switch 1 = ON).
The procedures to reduce alarm and prealarm set points and enable/disable the retentive working of the alarm signals.
Magnets, flanges and supply cable, assure a great simplicity of installation. Reliability and accuracy specifications of every SAG-105WR, are verified in wind tunnel tests.
- Operating temperature -20°C a +60°C
- Dimensions 195x150x270mm
- Weight 3 kg (cable included)
- Magnets strenghts >90Kg
Relation Between Speed And Pulse Output
To calculate the output frequency, multiply the wind speed in km/h by 1,05.
MechanicsThe anemometer is constituted by a rotor in plastic resistant to UV rays, at low temperatures and hail. Rotating on ball bearings, drives a magnetic contact generating 4 pulses per revolution. The aerodynamic shape, has been specifically designed to prevent the formation of ice on the surface of the structure and around the rotor.
Electrical Features
At the bottom are easily visible the two crowns of high-brightness LEDs that generate a warning flash when the thresholds of wind set, while the central part is housed a BUZZER high-intensity sound working simultaneously power of visual displays.
- Multi-voltage switching power supply 48-400 Vac
- Power consumption 6 VA max, 0.5 VA st.by
- Measured speeds from 0 to 200 km/h

Anchor Magnets
The supplied kit includes anchoring magnets to facilitate installation in the presence of flat surfaces and not suitable for the clamping. The convenient and quick installation by magnets guarantees a fixing force of around 90kg.
Fixing Bars
The kit includes 2 brackets for fixing to the metal structure such as tubular or vertical mantle bars.
Flanges
The flanges allow to fix the device on irregular elements with maximum dimensions equal to about 63mm of height and 45mm of width
